A Highly Available Storage Solution
The ExuS Technology QStor NAS is a highly available storage solution, which is based on high quality components. All systems fit into rack mount servers and require between 1U (QStor NAS R1040) and 4U (QStor NAS R4240+). They provide up to 24 drive bays for 3.5“ SATA/SAS hard drives, which are hot plug capable and allow installing a total capacity of up to 72 TB. Our QStor NAS supports iSCSI and comes with two Gigabit Ethernet ports. However, more network ports can be added on the QStor models NAS R2120+, QStor NAS R3160+ and QStor NAS R4240+ in an effort to maximize availability. Even the base models support RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 through MD RAID. You can go for a hardware RAID controller should you require more I/O performance, faster bandwidth or better scalability. Our QStor JBOD is available is a storage extension product, which allows adding an additional 36 TB of storage capacity. It is possible to connect up to 5 QStor JBOD units to a Qstor NAS server.

All QStor NAS devices are based on server and workstation components. One of the most effective options is the 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon quad core processor with 8 GB of DDR3 memory. The three high end models QStor NAS R2120+, QStor NAS R3160+ and QStor NAS R4240+ are equipped with a redundant 1200 W power supply unit, which is 80 PLUS Gold certified.

Each QStor NAS solution is based on professional RAID hardware, which is operated by a custom-tailored, Posix-compatible operating system. Our system is based on more than 7 years of experience in the OEM sector and therefore offers all enterprise management features, which administrators appreciate. Our system is designed to facilitate installation and maintenance through our 1-click interface.
